DPS Mandla Road strongly believes in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The NCC unit of DPS Mandla Road was initiated in the year 2019 after the approval by 4MPCTR wing of NCC. The troop of cadets passed out & completed their 2 years of force during pandemic, which enabled them to receive the certificate. In the year 2020-2021 to 2021-2022 two troops of boys & girls enthusiastically participated in plethora of activities and learnt many disciplinary life skills under the flagship of NCC.
The NCC unit of the school works towards the empowerment of its cadets engaging them into constructive activities that keep them away from negative forces and aims for their holistic development so that their energy can be harnessed towards creative and useful purposes, for them as well as the society.
Candidates are trained in drill, shooting, physical fitness, first aid, map reading, sailing and camp training etc.
